SCITT tuition-fee QTS
During your training year we will support you to grow into a teacher whose work inspires young minds. Importantly, you will also come to understand our vision of how teaching contributes to the development of learners and prepares them for life after school.
We will support you with a high-quality, research-underpinned curriculum as you explore ways of translating your learning with us at college into effective and engaging learning activities on your placements.
You will experience professional-development opportunities in a range of planning, teaching, assessment and professional skills needed for effective teaching. You will be supported to develop your teaching across the academic year, with time to learn, reflect and plan. This will deepen your professional understanding of what it is to be an effective teacher. Throughout the programme, you will be supported by a range of experts in teaching across our network of schools and partnerships so that you can have a fantastic and fulfilling year.
We will also support you to develop your own professional approach to your role as a teacher, paying attention to your workload and wellbeing.
