These are practicing experts from within our partnership who currently teach your subject in an 11-19 setting. They are therefore perfectly qualified to support you and you can find out more about them below.

Shane Brett

PE Teacher at Alderman Peel High School

I have a passion for mentoring new teachers in PE and sharing the enjoyment I have for the subject with them. Being a 'Go To Specialist' for PE has been brilliant and being able to support new teachers in their journey within the profession is very satisfying. With the latest changes to the GCSE PE courses schools are all currently facing, I have allowed trainee's time to work with the new specifications. With this we have focused on practical sports and how to assess accurately and also delivered, together, an introduction to 9-mark answers within the theoretical content.
