We train outstanding teachers.
If you’re interested in becoming a Primary School teacher, we can help. Since 2014 we have trained over 100 teachers, helping them secure their first teaching job and start their career in teaching.
Our Primary Teacher Training programme offers your two routes to becoming a teacher. You can follow the School Direct route, where you will learn from experience teaching in a school, or you can join our Primary Teaching Training Postgraduate Apprenticeship and get involved in school life from day one.
Unlike a PGCE, both of our programmes will see you learn from experience, spending most of your time teaching in school. We believe that learning from experience is the best approach.
Our programmes boast an outstanding employment rate, with 100% of our graduates securing their first teaching job immediately at the end of the course (2017/18).

Learn from experience
Where better to train to teach than in a school?
We work with over 30 partner schools and colleges, and on our programme, you will spend most of time teaching in a school rather than studying in a classroom.
This allows you to learn from experience and get advice from experienced teachers and your assigned mentor. What’s more, recent research shows that this school-led approach is more successful than studying at university or a higher education provider.
